3 Days Rwanda Gorilla trekking and Dian Fossey Tomb Hike

Trek the critically endangered mountain gorillas and hike to the Dian Fossey’s Tomb in Karisoke Researcher center located in Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park on the 3-day Gorilla Trekking and Dian Fossey Hike. Without a question, the most visit of Rwanda’s national parks is Volcanoes National park. The famous primatologist Dian Fossey made her home in the park to study about the mountain gorillas. Dian Fossey spent most of her adult life studying Mountain gorillas and fighting to keep them safe from cruel humans who used them as a commodity.

Dian Fossey was the first person to learn a great deal about mountain gorillas, including how to habituated them and get them more used to people. She learnt that she needed to win over the group’s dominant silverback before she could earn everyone’s approval in the family. Dian Fossey said that she was able to gain the gorillas’ confidence by replicating their calls and grunts. Later, she shifted her attention from research to protecting gorillas in Africa after the death of her best friend Digit who was the dominant silverback of the group she had habituated, Digit was killed by poachers and traffickers who target infant gorillas.

As a result of Dian fossey’s fight against the poachers and traffikers, she had a lot of people against her, some of whom may have conspired to have her killed. Someone hired by poachers or traffickers or one of the trafikkers or poachers is suspected of brutally murdering Dian Fossey in the hut she had constructed between Mount Karisimbi and Mount Bisoke which named Karisoke Research Center.\
